For this winter semester, we've made it our goal to go skating every week at Hawrelak Park, and so far we've done it! It's a fun, outdoor activity and such good excercise! Mary had only been skating one time before in her life so this has become quite the undertaking! The first time we went she could hardly even move, I tried to pull her along but she wouldn't let me because she was too scared!!! It took us about an hour to go around the small island in the lake, probably because I wasn't a very good teacher and didn't help her as well as I should have!

Luckily Shannon came with us the next time and Mary improved with flying colors under her tutilage! We even found a chair for her to push around on the ice and that helped alot! We forgot the camera that time though :(
Then our mom came, and she is pretty much a pro, it was so fun!
Then we went again for the YSA activity!
